What is libshout3-dev
libshout3-dev is:
A library for communicating with and sending data to Icecast and Icecast 2 streaming audio servers. It handles the socket connection, the timing of the data transmission, and prevents bad data from getting to the server.
This is a transitional dummy package to ease upgrades to libshout-dev.
There are three methods to install libshout3-dev on Debian 11. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
