How To Install librte-node21 on Kali Linux
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install librte-node21 on Kali Linux.
What is librte-node21
librte-node21 is:
DPDK is a set of libraries for fast packet processing. Applications run in user-space and communicate directly with dedicated network interfaces.
This package contains the runtime libraries for librte-node.
The graph library provides API to enable graph framework operations such as create, lookup, dump and destroy on graph and node operations such as clone, edge update, and edge shrink, etc. The API also allows one to create the stats cluster to monitor per graph and per node stats.
There are three methods to install librte-node21 on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install librte-node21 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install librte-node21 using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install librte-node21Install librte-node21 Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install librte-node21 using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install librte-node21Install librte-node21 Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install librte-node21 using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install librte-node21How To Uninstall librte-node21 on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the librte-node21 package we can use the following command:

To remove librte-node21 configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
