How To Install librss-ocaml on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install librss-ocaml on Kali Linux.
What is librss-ocaml
librss-ocaml is:
OCaml-RSS is a small OCaml library providing functions to parse and print RSS 2.0 files. The parser can also parse some RDF files, but some fields are not taken into account. There is still some work to do (add missing RSS 2.0 attributes, add convenient functions).
OCaml-RSS was previously part of Cameleon but is now developed separately and is findlib compatible.
There are three methods to install librss-ocaml on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install librss-ocaml Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install librss-ocaml using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install librss-ocamlInstall librss-ocaml Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install librss-ocaml using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install librss-ocamlInstall librss-ocaml Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install librss-ocaml using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install librss-ocamlHow To Uninstall librss-ocaml on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the librss-ocaml package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove librss-ocamlUninstall librss-ocaml And Its Dependencies
To uninstall librss-ocaml and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove librss-ocamlRemove librss-ocaml Configurations and Data
To remove librss-ocaml configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge librss-ocamlRemove librss-ocaml configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove librss-ocaml configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge librss-ocamlDependencies
