How To Install librsl-dev on Ubuntu 18.04

What is librsl-dev
librsl-dev is:
RSL is a library produced by the NASA TRMM Satellite Validation Office and used to access several radar file formats. It can generated images directly or be used to load data files for other programs.
It can read the following file formats: WSR88D/NEXRAD, Lassen, Sigmet, McGill, UF, HDF, RAPIC, RADTEC and the native RSL file format.
This package contains the header files and static libraries which are needed for developing programs that use grits.

After updating apt database, We can install librsl-dev using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the librsl-dev package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove librsl-dev

To uninstall librsl-dev and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove librsl-dev
Remove librsl-dev Configurations and Data
To remove librsl-dev configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge librsl-dev

We can use the following command to remove librsl-dev configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
