How To Install libreoffice on Kali Linux

What is libreoffice
libreoffice is:
LibreOffice is a full-featured office productivity suite that provides a near drop-in replacement for Microsoft(R) Office.
This metapackage installs all components of libreoffice:
- libreoffice-writer: Word processor
- libreoffice-calc: Spreadsheet
- libreoffice-impress: Presentation
- libreoffice-draw: Drawing
- libreoffice-base: Database
- libreoffice-math: Equation editor It also recommends additional packages (e.g. fonts) in order to match an upstream LibreOffice install as closely as possible.
You can extend the functionality of LibreOffice by installing these packages:

There are three methods to install libreoffice on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libreoffice using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the libreoffice package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libreofficeUninstall libreoffice And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libreoffice and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libreofficeRemove libreoffice Configurations and Data
To remove libreoffice configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libreofficeRemove libreoffice configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
