How To Install libreoffice-dev on Kali Linux

What is libreoffice-dev
libreoffice-dev is:
LibreOffice is a full-featured office productivity suite that provides a near drop-in replacement for Microsoft(R) Office.
This package contains the (architecture-dependent) files needed to build plugins/add-ons for LibreOffice (build tools, libraries, arch-dependent includes, …).
There are three methods to install libreoffice-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libreoffice-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libreoffice-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libreoffice-devInstall libreoffice-dev Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libreoffice-dev using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libreoffice-devInstall libreoffice-dev Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libreoffice-dev using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libreoffice-devHow To Uninstall libreoffice-dev on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the libreoffice-dev package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libreoffice-devUninstall libreoffice-dev And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libreoffice-dev and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libreoffice-devRemove libreoffice-dev Configurations and Data
To remove libreoffice-dev configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libreoffice-devRemove libreoffice-dev configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libreoffice-dev configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libreoffice-devDependencies
