librdf0 is:

Redland is a library that provides a high-level interface for RDF (Resource Description Framework) implemented in an object-based API. It is modular and supports different RDF/XML parsers, storage mechanisms and other elements. Redland is designed for applications developers to provide RDF support in their applications as well as for RDF developers to experiment with the technology.

This package includes the core file-based storages. To get database backed storages, the librdf-storage-postgresql, librdf-storage-mysql, librdf-storage-sqlite or librdf-storage-virtuoso packages should be installed.

There are three methods to install librdf0 on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install librdf0 Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install librdf0 using apt-get by running the following command:

After updating apt database, We can install librdf0 using apt by running the following command:

Install librdf0 Using aptitude

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install librdf0 using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install librdf0
