How To Install libqwt-dev on Ubuntu 18.04

The Qwt library contains Qt GUI Components and utility classes which are primarily useful for programs with a technical background. Most of these widgets are used to control or display values, arrays, or ranges of type double.
This package contains the Qwt development files for Qt4 and qt4-designer plugin.
There are three methods to install libqwt-dev on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libqwt-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libqwt-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
