How To Install libquicktime2 on Ubuntu 18.04

libquicktime is a library for reading and writing QuickTime files on UNIX systems. Video CODECs supported by this library are OpenDivX, MJPA, JPEG Photo, PNG, RGB, YUV 4:2:2, and YUV 4:2:0 compression. Supported audio CODECs are Ogg Vorbis, IMA4, ulaw, and any linear PCM format.

How To Uninstall libquicktime2 on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the libquicktime2 package we can use the following command:

To uninstall libquicktime2 and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libquicktime2

To remove libquicktime2 configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libquicktime2
