How To Install libqgpsmm-dev on Ubuntu 18.04

The gpsd service daemon can monitor one or more GPS devices connected to a host computer, making all data on the location and movements of the sensors available to be queried on TCP port 2947.
This package provides libQgpsmm, the Qt version of libgpsmm. It is a wrapper over libgps, the service library for querying GPS devices. libQgpsmm is available on all platforms which are supported by Qt4.
There are three methods to install libqgpsmm-dev on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libqgpsmm-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libqgpsmm-dev using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install libqgpsmm-dev using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libqgpsmm-dev using aptitude by running the following command:

How To Uninstall libqgpsmm-dev on Ubuntu 18.04

We can use the following command to remove libqgpsmm-dev configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libqgpsmm-dev
