How To Install libqdox2-java on Kali Linux

Introduction

In this tutorial we learn how to install libqdox2-java on Kali Linux.

What is libqdox2-java

libqdox2-java is:

QDox quickly parses Java source files looking for key items of interest:

• class and interface definitions
• member declarations
• import statements
• JavaDoc comments

QDox ignores all other components of Java source, such as actual method implementations, to avoid overhead. QDox returns a simple document model containing only the declarations and containing enough information to be useful.

This is version 2 of QDox which is backwards incompatible with earlier versions.

There are three methods to install libqdox2-java on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install libqdox2-java using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install libqdox2-java

How To Uninstall libqdox2-java on Kali Linux

To uninstall only the libqdox2-java package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove libqdox2-java

Uninstall libqdox2-java And Its Dependencies

To uninstall libqdox2-java and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove libqdox2-java

Remove libqdox2-java Configurations and Data

To remove libqdox2-java configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge libqdox2-java
