How To Install libqd-dev on Kali Linux

What is libqd-dev

This package supports both a double-double datatype (approx. 32 decimal digits) and a quad-double datatype (approx. 64 decimal digits). The computational library is written in C++. Both C++ and Fortran-90 high-level language interfaces are provided to permit one to convert an existing C++ or Fortran-90 program to use the library with only minor changes to the source code.
There are three methods to install libqd-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libqd-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libqd-dev using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libqd-dev using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the libqd-dev package we can use the following command:
