How To Install libproc-queue-perl on Ubuntu 18.04
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install libproc-queue-perl on Ubuntu 18.04.
What is libproc-queue-perl
libproc-queue-perl is:
Proc::Queue lets you parallelise a perl program using the fork, exit, wait and waitpid calls as usual but without taking care of creating too many processes and overloading the machine.
It redefines perl fork, exit, wait and waitpid core functions. Old programs do not need to be reprogrammed, only the use Proc::Queue … sentence has to be added to them.
There are three methods to install libproc-queue-perl on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
