How To Install libpri1.4 on Ubuntu 18.04

libpri1.4 is:
C implementation of the Primary Rate ISDN specification. It was based on the Bellcore specification SR-NWT-002343 for National ISDN. As of May 12, 2001, it has been tested work with NI-2, Nortel DMS-100, and Lucent 5E Custom protocols on switches from Nortel and Lucent
There are three methods to install libpri1.4 on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libpri1.4 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libpri1.4 using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libpri1.4
Install libpri1.4 Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install libpri1.4 using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libpri1.4
Install libpri1.4 Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libpri1.4 using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libpri1.4
How To Uninstall libpri1.4 on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the libpri1.4 package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libpri1.4
