How To Install libpog-dev on Debian 12
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install libpog-dev on Debian 12.
What is libpog-dev
libpog-dev is:
Pog is C++17 library for generating LALR(1) parsers. This library is header-only itself but requires RE2 library which does not come with header-only version. It splits definitions of parser into:
- Declaration of tokens (regular expressions describing how the input should be tokenized)
- Grammar rules over tokens from tokenization phase
There are three methods to install libpog-dev on Debian 12. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libpog-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libpog-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
