How To Install libpmemcto-dev on Ubuntu 18.04

on Ubuntu 18.04.
What is libpmemcto-dev
libpmemcto-dev is:
The libpmemcto library is a persistent memory allocator providing malloc-like interfaces, with no overhead imposed by run-time flushing or transactional updates. An overhead is imposed only when program exits normally and have to flush the pool contents.
NOTE: This is an experimental API and should not be used in production environments.
This package contains libraries and header files used for linking programs against libpmemcto.
There are three methods to install libpmemcto-dev
on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get

Install libpmemcto-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libpmemcto-dev
using apt-get

sudo apt-get -y install libpmemcto-dev

Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install libpmemcto-dev
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libpmemcto-dev
Install libpmemcto-dev Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libpmemcto-dev
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libpmemcto-dev
How To Uninstall libpmemcto-dev on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the libpmemcto-dev
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libpmemcto-dev
Uninstall libpmemcto-dev And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libpmemcto-dev
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libpmemcto-dev
Remove libpmemcto-dev Configurations and Data
To remove libpmemcto-dev
configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libpmemcto-dev
Remove libpmemcto-dev configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libpmemcto-dev

sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libpmemcto-dev
