What is libpmem2-dev

libpmem2-dev is:

libpmem provides low level persistent memory support. In particular, support for the persistent memory instructions for flushing changes to pmem is provided.

This package contains libraries and header files used for linking programs against libpmem2, with a modernized API that avoids certain limitations of libpmem1.

There are three methods to install libpmem2-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install libpmem2-dev Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update
