How To Install libplank-dev on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install libplank-dev on Kali Linux.
What is libplank-dev
libplank-dev is:
Plank is a dock enabling you to start applications and manage your windows.
Plank is meant to be the simplest dock on the planet. The goal is to provide just what a dock needs and absolutely nothing more. It is, however, a library which can be extended to create other dock programs with more advanced features.
This package contains the development files to build docks based on Plank.
There are three methods to install libplank-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libplank-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libplank-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libplank-devInstall libplank-dev Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libplank-dev using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libplank-devInstall libplank-dev Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libplank-dev using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libplank-devHow To Uninstall libplank-dev on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the libplank-dev package we can use the following command:

To uninstall libplank-dev and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libplank-devRemove libplank-dev Configurations and Data
To remove libplank-dev configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
