Pigpio is a set of software which allows control of the General Purpose Input Outputs (GPIO) locally or remotely. Currently only the client side is Packaged in Debian as the server side is incompatible with Debian kernels.

This package provides the deprecated libpigpiod_if client library

There are three methods to install libpigpiod-if1 on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install libpigpiod-if1 Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update
