How To Install libphp-predis on Debian 9

What is libphp-predis
libphp-predis is:
The library does not require any additional extension loaded in PHP but it can be optionally paired with the phpiredis (https://github.com/nrk/phpiredis) C-based extension to lower the overhead of serializing and parsing the Redis protocol. Predis is also available in an asynchronous fashion through the experimental client provided by the Predis\Async (http://github.com/nrk/predis-async) library.

There are three methods to install libphp-predis on Debian 9. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libphp-predis Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libphp-predis using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libphp-predis

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install libphp-predis using apt by running the following command:

Install libphp-predis Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libphp-predis using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libphp-predis
How To Uninstall libphp-predis on Debian 9
To uninstall only the libphp-predis package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libphp-predis
Uninstall libphp-predis And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libphp-predis and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 9, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libphp-predis
Remove libphp-predis Configurations and Data
To remove libphp-predis configuration and data from Debian 9 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libphp-predis
