How To Install libpcp3 on Kali Linux

What is libpcp3
libpcp3 is:
The libpcp package contains the runtime environment required by programs that make use of Performance Co-Pilot (PCP) services.
The Performance Co-Pilot provides a unifying abstraction for all of the interesting performance data in a system, and allows client applications to easily retrieve and process any subset of that data.
There are three methods to install libpcp3 on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libpcp3 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libpcp3 using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libpcp3Install libpcp3 Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libpcp3 using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libpcp3 using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the libpcp3 package we can use the following command:

To uninstall libpcp3 and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libpcp3Remove libpcp3 Configurations and Data
To remove libpcp3 configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libpcp3Remove libpcp3 configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
