The libpcp-pmda package contains the runtime environment required by a Performance Metric Domain Agent (PMDA). A PMDA exports performance data for one specific domain, for example the operating system kernel, DNS, SMTP, Cisco router, a database, an application, etc.

There are three methods to install libpcp-pmda3 on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
