How To Install libparted-dev on Kali Linux

What is libparted-dev
libparted-dev is:
GNU Parted is a program that allows you to create, destroy, resize, move, and copy disk partitions. This is useful for creating space for new operating systems, reorganizing disk usage, and copying data to new hard disks.
This package contains the static library and header files for libparted, which are really only of interest to parted developers.
There are three methods to install libparted-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libparted-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libparted-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libparted-devInstall libparted-dev Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libparted-dev using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the libparted-dev package we can use the following command:

To remove libparted-dev configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
