How To Install libpari-dev on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install libpari-dev on Kali Linux.
What is libpari-dev
libpari-dev is:
PARI/GP is a widely used computer algebra system designed for fast computations in number theory (factorizations, algebraic number theory, elliptic curves…), but also contains a large number of other useful functions to compute with mathematical entities such as matrices, polynomials, power series, algebraic numbers etc., and a lot of transcendental functions. PARI is also available as a C library to allow for faster computations.
Originally developed by Henri Cohen and his co-workers (University Bordeaux I, France), PARI is now under the GPL and maintained by Karim Belabas with the help of many volunteer contributors.
This package contains the include files and static library.
There are three methods to install libpari-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libpari-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libpari-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libpari-devInstall libpari-dev Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libpari-dev using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libpari-devInstall libpari-dev Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libpari-dev using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libpari-devHow To Uninstall libpari-dev on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the libpari-dev package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libpari-devUninstall libpari-dev And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libpari-dev and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libpari-devRemove libpari-dev Configurations and Data
To remove libpari-dev configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libpari-devRemove libpari-dev configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
