How To Install libpappl1 on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install libpappl1 on Kali Linux.
What is libpappl1
libpappl1 is:
PAPPL is a simple C-based framework/library for developing CUPS Printer Applications, which are the recommended replacement for printer drivers. It was specifically developed to support LPrint and a future Gutenprint Printer Application but is sufficiently general purpose to support any kind of printer or driver that can be used on desktops, servers, and in embedded environments.
There are three methods to install libpappl1 on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libpappl1 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libpappl1 using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libpappl1Install libpappl1 Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libpappl1 using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libpappl1Install libpappl1 Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libpappl1 using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libpappl1How To Uninstall libpappl1 on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the libpappl1 package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libpappl1Uninstall libpappl1 And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libpappl1 and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libpappl1Remove libpappl1 Configurations and Data
To remove libpappl1 configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libpappl1Remove libpappl1 configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libpappl1 configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
