How To Install libpapi-dev on Kali Linux

What is libpapi-dev
libpapi-dev is:
Performance Application Programming Interface (PAPI) provides the tool designer and application engineer with a consistent interface and methodology for use of the performance counter hardware found in most major microprocessors. PAPI enables software engineers to see, in near real time, the relation between software performance and processor events.
In addition Component PAPI provides access to a collection of components that expose performance measurement opportunites across the hardware and software stack.
This package provides the development files of PAPI.
There are three methods to install libpapi-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libpapi-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libpapi-dev using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

To uninstall only the libpapi-dev package we can use the following command:

To remove libpapi-dev configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
