How To Install libpam-passwdqc on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install libpam-passwdqc on Kali Linux.
What is libpam-passwdqc
libpam-passwdqc is:
passwdqc is a password/passphrase strength checking and policy enforcement toolset, including a PAM module (libpam-passwdqc), command-line programs (pwqcheck and pwqgen), and a library (libpasswdqc0).
pam_passwdqc (optionally) integrates with PAM such that it gets invoked when users change their passwords. The module is capable of checking password or passphrase strength, enforcing a policy, and offering randomly-generated passphrases, with all of these features being optional and easily (re-)configurable.
There are three methods to install libpam-passwdqc on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libpam-passwdqc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libpam-passwdqc using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libpam-passwdqcInstall libpam-passwdqc Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libpam-passwdqc using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the libpam-passwdqc package we can use the following command:

To uninstall libpam-passwdqc and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libpam-passwdqcRemove libpam-passwdqc Configurations and Data
To remove libpam-passwdqc configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libpam-passwdqcRemove libpam-passwdqc configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libpam-passwdqc configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
