How To Install libotf-dev on Ubuntu 18.04

What is libotf-dev
libotf-dev is:
The libotf library provides the following facilities:
- Read Open Type Layout Tables from OTF file. Currently these tables are supported; head, name, cmap, GDEF, GSUB, and GPOS.
- Convert a Unicode character sequence to a glyph code sequence by using the above tables.
The combination of libotf and the FreeType library (Ver.2) realizes CTL (complex text layout) by OpenType fonts.
This package contains the header and development files needed to build programs and packages using libotf.
There are three methods to install libotf-dev on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libotf-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libotf-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libotf-dev

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install libotf-dev using apt by running the following command:

Install libotf-dev Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libotf-dev using aptitude by running the following command:
