What is libopencsv-java
libopencsv-java is:
Opencsv is a very simple csv (comma-separated values) parser library for Java. It supports all the basic csv-type things you’re likely to want to do:
- Arbitrary numbers of values per line
- Ignoring commas in quoted elements
- Handling quoted entries with embedded carriage returns (ie entries that span multiple lines)
- Configurable separator and quote characters (or use sensible defaults)
- Read all the entries at once, or use an Iterator style model
- Creating csv files from String[] (ie. automatic escaping of embedded quote chars)
There are three methods to install libopencsv-java on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libopencsv-java Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libopencsv-java using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
