How To Install libopenal-dev on Kali Linux

What is libopenal-dev
libopenal-dev is:
OpenAL, the Open Audio Library, is a joint effort to create an open, vendor-neutral, cross-platform API for interactive, primarily spatialized audio. OpenAL’s primary audience are application developers and desktop users that rely on portable standards like OpenGL, for games and other multimedia applications.
This package contains the files necessary for development with OpenAL .
There are three methods to install libopenal-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libopenal-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libopenal-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libopenal-devInstall libopenal-dev Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libopenal-dev using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libopenal-devInstall libopenal-dev Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the libopenal-dev package we can use the following command:

To uninstall libopenal-dev and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libopenal-devRemove libopenal-dev Configurations and Data
To remove libopenal-dev configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
