How To Install liboop4 on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install liboop4 on Kali Linux.
What is liboop4
liboop4 is:
Liboop is a low-level event loop management library for POSIX-based operating systems. It supports the development of modular, multiplexed applications which may respond to events from several sources. It replaces the “select() loop” and allows the registration of event handlers for file and network I/O, timers and signals. Since processes use these mechanisms for almost all external communication, liboop can be used as a basis for almost any application.
There are three methods to install liboop4 on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install liboop4 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install liboop4 using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install liboop4Install liboop4 Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install liboop4 using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install liboop4Install liboop4 Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install liboop4 using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the liboop4 package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove liboop4Remove liboop4 Configurations and Data
To remove liboop4 configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge liboop4Remove liboop4 configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove liboop4 configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
