How To Install libofx-dev on Kali Linux

This package provides header files and related support for developing packages that use libofx7, a library to support the Open Financial Exchange format.
Open Financial Exchange is an open standard for exchanging financial information. Using this library a program can enable support for common financial transactions such as bill payment, accessing account information and investment tracking.
There are three methods to install libofx-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libofx-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libofx-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libofx-devInstall libofx-dev Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the libofx-dev package we can use the following command:

To remove libofx-dev configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
