How To Install liboauth2-dev on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install liboauth2-dev on Kali Linux.
What is liboauth2-dev
liboauth2-dev is:
Generic library that can be used to build OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect C-based servers and clients e.g. web-server plugins.
This package contains the development files necessary for running applications that use the liboauth2 library.
There are three methods to install liboauth2-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install liboauth2-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install liboauth2-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install liboauth2-devInstall liboauth2-dev Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install liboauth2-dev using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install liboauth2-devInstall liboauth2-dev Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install liboauth2-dev using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install liboauth2-devHow To Uninstall liboauth2-dev on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the liboauth2-dev package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove liboauth2-devUninstall liboauth2-dev And Its Dependencies
To uninstall liboauth2-dev and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove liboauth2-devRemove liboauth2-dev Configurations and Data
To remove liboauth2-dev configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge liboauth2-devRemove liboauth2-dev configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove liboauth2-dev configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge liboauth2-devDependencies
