What is liboauth0

liboauth0 is:

OAuth (Open Authorization) is an authentication protocol that allows users to approve a client (such as a Twitter third-party app) to act on their behalf without sharing their password. liboauth provides basic functions to escape and encode parameters according to the OAuth Core 1.0a API, and offers high-level functions to sign requests or verify signatures.

This package contains the shared libraries.

There are three methods to install liboauth0 on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install liboauth0 Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install liboauth0 using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install liboauth0

Install liboauth0 Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install liboauth0 using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install liboauth0

Install liboauth0 Using aptitude

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

sudo apt-get -y purge liboauth0
