How To Install libnxml0-dev on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install libnxml0-dev on Kali Linux.
What is libnxml0-dev
libnxml0-dev is:
libnxml is a C library for parsing, writing, and creating XML 1.0 and 1.1 files or streams. It supports UTF-8, UTF-16be and UTF-16le, UCS-4 (1234, 4321, 2143, 2312).
This package provides a static library and C header files.
There are three methods to install libnxml0-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libnxml0-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libnxml0-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libnxml0-devInstall libnxml0-dev Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libnxml0-dev using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libnxml0-devInstall libnxml0-dev Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libnxml0-dev using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libnxml0-devHow To Uninstall libnxml0-dev on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the libnxml0-dev package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libnxml0-devUninstall libnxml0-dev And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libnxml0-dev and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libnxml0-devRemove libnxml0-dev Configurations and Data
To remove libnxml0-dev configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libnxml0-devRemove libnxml0-dev configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libnxml0-dev configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libnxml0-devDependencies
