How To Install libnss-nisplus on Kali Linux

This package provides a Name Service Switch that allows your NIS+ server act as a name service. This means providing user account information, group id’s, host information, aliases, netgroups, and basically anything else that you would normally get from /etc flat files.
This module was formerly part of glibc, but is now standalone to be able to link against TI-RPC for IPv6 support.
There are three methods to install libnss-nisplus on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libnss-nisplus Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
