This package contains the libnsl library. This library contains the public client interface for NIS(YP) and NIS+. This code was formerly part of glibc, but is now standalone to be able to link against TI-RPC for IPv6 support. This package contains the libnsl library. Install libnsl2 on CentOS 8 Using yum

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

sudo yum makecache

After updating yum database, We can install libnsl2 using yum by running the following command:

sudo yum -y install libnsl2

Install libnsl2 on CentOS 8 Using dnf

If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first. Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache

After updating yum database, We can install libnsl2 using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install libnsl2

How To Uninstall libnsl2 on CentOS 8

To uninstall only the libnsl2 package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove libnsl2
