How To Install libncap44 on Ubuntu 18.04

In this tutorial we learn how to install libncap44 on Ubuntu 18.04.
What is libncap44
libncap44 is:
ncap is a network capture library like libpcap (on which it is based) and tcpdump. It produces binary data in its own ncap format, which can be stored in a dump file or transmitted over a UDP socket. Unlike libpcap, it discards data link headers and only supports IPv4 and IPv6 packets, but it can perform reassembly of IP datagrams.
This package contains the shared library.
There are three methods to install libncap44 on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libncap44 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update

To uninstall only the libncap44 package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove libncap44
Remove libncap44 Configurations and Data
To remove libncap44 configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libncap44
