How To Install libnanoxml2-java on Kali Linux

What is libnanoxml2-java

libnanoxml2-java is:

NanoXML is a (actually more than one) small XML parser for Java. It provides the Java packages net.n3.nanoxml., net.n3.nanoxml.sax. and nanoxml.* in nanoxml2.jar, nanoxml2-sax.jar and nanoxml2-lite.jar. The package nanoxml.* is source compatible with NanoXML 1 but is more restrictive on what it will parse than NanoXML 1.

There are three methods to install libnanoxml2-java on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install libnanoxml2-java Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install libnanoxml2-java using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install libnanoxml2-java

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install libnanoxml2-java using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install libnanoxml2-java

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install libnanoxml2-java using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install libnanoxml2-java

How To Uninstall libnanoxml2-java on Kali Linux

To uninstall only the libnanoxml2-java package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove libnanoxml2-java

sudo apt-get -y autoremove libnanoxml2-java
