How To Install libmyproxy-dev on Kali Linux

What is libmyproxy-dev
libmyproxy-dev is:
MyProxy is open source software for managing X.509 Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) security credentials (certificates and private keys). MyProxy combines an online credential repository with an online certificate authority to allow users to securely obtain credentials when and where needed. Users run myproxy-logon to authenticate and obtain credentials, including trusted CA certificates and Certificate Revocation Lists (CRLs).
This package contains development files for MyProxy.
There are three methods to install libmyproxy-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libmyproxy-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libmyproxy-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libmyproxy-devInstall libmyproxy-dev Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libmyproxy-dev using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libmyproxy-devInstall libmyproxy-dev Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libmyproxy-dev using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the libmyproxy-dev package we can use the following command:

To uninstall libmyproxy-dev and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libmyproxy-devRemove libmyproxy-dev Configurations and Data
To remove libmyproxy-dev configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
