How To Install libmuscle-dev on Kali Linux

What is libmuscle-dev
libmuscle-dev is:
MUSCLE is a multiple alignment program for protein sequences. MUSCLE stands for multiple sequence comparison by log-expectation. In the authors tests, MUSCLE achieved the highest scores of all tested programs on several alignment accuracy benchmarks, and is also one of the fastest programs out there.
This library was derived from the original MUSCLE and turned into a library.
This package contains the static library and header files.
There are three methods to install libmuscle-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libmuscle-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libmuscle-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libmuscle-devInstall libmuscle-dev Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the libmuscle-dev package we can use the following command:

To remove libmuscle-dev configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
