How To Install libmumps64-dev on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install libmumps64-dev on Kali Linux.
What is libmumps64-dev
libmumps64-dev is:
MUMPS implements a direct solver for large sparse linear systems, with a particular focus on symmetric positive definite matrices. It can operate on distributed matrices e.g. over a cluster. It has Fortran and C interfaces, and can interface with ordering tools such as Scotch.
This package supports 64-bit ordering (-DPORD_INTSIZE64).
There are three methods to install libmumps64-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libmumps64-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
