How To Install libmshr64-dev on Kali Linux
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install libmshr64-dev on Kali Linux.
What is libmshr64-dev
libmshr64-dev is:
mshr generates simplicial DOLFIN meshes in 2D and 3D from geometries described by Constructive Solid Geometry (CSG) or from surface files, utilizing CGAL and Tetgen as mesh generation backends.
This package contains the development files with support for 64-bit indexing (libdolfin64 and PETSc-64).
There are three methods to install libmshr64-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libmshr64-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libmshr64-dev using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the libmshr64-dev package we can use the following command:

To remove libmshr64-dev configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
