What is libmongodb-java

libmongodb-java is:

Debian package for the official MongoDB Java Driver providing both synchronous and asynchronous interaction with MongoDB. Powering the drivers is a new driver core and BSON library.

BSON Library A standalone BSON library, with a new Codec infrastructure that you can use to build high-performance encoders and decoders without requiring an intermediate Map instance.

MongoDB Driver An updated Java driver that includes the legacy API as well as a new generic MongoCollection interface that complies with a new cross-driver CRUD specification.

There are three methods to install libmongodb-java on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install libmongodb-java using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install libmongodb-java

How To Uninstall libmongodb-java on Kali Linux

To uninstall only the libmongodb-java package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove libmongodb-java

Uninstall libmongodb-java And Its Dependencies

To uninstall libmongodb-java and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove libmongodb-java

Remove libmongodb-java Configurations and Data

To remove libmongodb-java configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge libmongodb-java

Remove libmongodb-java configuration, data, and all of its dependencies

We can use the following command to remove libmongodb-java configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
