How To Install libmodello-java on Ubuntu 20.04

What is libmodello-java
libmodello-java is:
Once a DataModel is defined, the toolkit can be used to generate any of the following at compile time.
* Java Pojos of the DataModel.
* Java Pojos to XML Writer. (provided via xpp3, stax, jdom or dom4j)
* XML to Java Pojos Reader. (provided via xpp3, stax or dom4j)
* XDOC documentation of the DataModel.
* XML Schema to validate the DataModel.
Modello is used to build the maven system.
There are three methods to install libmodello-java
on Ubuntu 20.04. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libmodello-java Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get

sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libmodello-java

After updating apt database, We can install libmodello-java

sudo apt -y install libmodello-java
Install libmodello-java Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libmodello-java
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libmodello-java
How To Uninstall libmodello-java on Ubuntu 20.04
To uninstall only the libmodello-java
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libmodello-java
Uninstall libmodello-java And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libmodello-java
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 20.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libmodello-java
Remove libmodello-java Configurations and Data
To remove libmodello-java
configuration and data from Ubuntu 20.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libmodello-java
Remove libmodello-java configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
