How To Install libmodbus-dev on Debian 9
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install libmodbus-dev on Debian 9.
What is libmodbus-dev
libmodbus-dev is:
A Modbus library written in C, to send/receive data with a device which respects the Modbus protocol. This library can use a serial port or an Ethernet connection.

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
