How To Install libmkl-avx2 on Kali Linux

Intel? Math Kernel Library (Intel? MKL) is a computing math library of highly optimized, extensively threaded routines for applications that require maximum performance.
This package contains the Kernel library for Intel? Advanced Vector Extensions 2 (Intel? AVX2) enabled processors. It belongs to the Computational Layer of MKL.
There are three methods to install libmkl-avx2
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude

Install libmkl-avx2 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libmkl-avx2
using apt-get

Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install libmkl-avx2

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude

After updating apt database, We can install libmkl-avx2

How To Uninstall libmkl-avx2 on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the libmkl-avx2
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libmkl-avx2
Uninstall libmkl-avx2 And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libmkl-avx2
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libmkl-avx2
Remove libmkl-avx2 Configurations and Data
To remove libmkl-avx2
configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libmkl-avx2
Remove libmkl-avx2 configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
