How To Install libmgba on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install libmgba on Kali Linux.
What is libmgba
libmgba is:
mGBA is a new emulator for running Game Boy Advance games. It aims to be faster and more accurate than many existing Game Boy Advance emulators, as well as adding features that other emulators lack.
This package provides the common library for mGBA.
Game Boy Advance is a registered trademark of Nintendo of America Inc. mGBA is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of the companies mentioned.
There are three methods to install libmgba on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libmgba Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libmgba using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libmgbaInstall libmgba Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libmgba using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libmgbaInstall libmgba Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libmgba using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libmgbaHow To Uninstall libmgba on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the libmgba package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libmgbaUninstall libmgba And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libmgba and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libmgbaRemove libmgba Configurations and Data
To remove libmgba configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libmgbaRemove libmgba configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libmgba configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libmgbaDependencies
