How To Install libmemcached-tools on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install libmemcached-tools on Kali Linux.
What is libmemcached-tools
libmemcached-tools is:
libmemcached is a C and C++ client library to the memcached server (http://memcached.org/). It has been designed to be light on memory usage, thread safe, and provide full access to server side methods.
This package provides several command line tools:
- memccat - Copy the value of a key to standard output
- memcflush - Flush the contents of your servers.
- memcrm - Remove a key(s) from the server.
- memccp - Copy files to a memcached server.
- memcstat - Dump the stats of your servers to standard output
- memcslap - Generate testing loads on a memcached cluster
There are three methods to install libmemcached-tools on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libmemcached-tools Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libmemcached-tools using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libmemcached-toolsInstall libmemcached-tools Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
