How To Install libltdl7 on Ubuntu 18.04

What is libltdl7

This package contains the run-time libltdl library.
A small library that aims at hiding the various difficulties of dlopening libraries from programmers. It is a system independent dlopen wrapper for GNU libtool.
It supports the following dlopen interfaces:
- dlopen (Solaris, Linux and various BSD flavors)
- shl_load (HP-UX)
- LoadLibrary (Win16 and Win32)
- load_add_on (BeOS)
- GNU DLD (emulates dynamic linking for static libraries)
- libtool’s dlpreopen

After updating apt database, We can install libltdl7 using aptitude by running the following command:

How To Uninstall libltdl7 on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the libltdl7 package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libltdl7
Uninstall libltdl7 And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libltdl7 and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libltdl7
Remove libltdl7 Configurations and Data
To remove libltdl7 configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libltdl7
